Create your first audio from a WordPress post, publish the player, and check the result on the front end.
Before you start, make sure at least one AI provider is connected in Parlato settings and that the post has enough text to generate a useful narration.
Step 1
Open a post
Go to Posts in WordPress and open an existing article. You can also create a new post, but the first test is easier with content that is already published.
Step 2
Choose format
Open Parlato Settings and review the Podcast AI defaults: format, provider, model, and narrator voice. In the Player tab, confirm where the player should appear on article pages.
Step 3
Generate script
Use the post content as the source for the narration. If your workflow includes a script preview, review the text before generating the final audio.
Step 4
Generate audio
From the Posts table, choose Generate Podcast, select Narrator, and start generation. Generation time depends on post length, provider, and model.
Step 5
Publish & listen
When the audio is ready, open the blog listing and look for the audio icon beside the post title. Then open the article, press play, and confirm that the player streams the generated narration.
